Hello,
I’m Carina, an Amsterdam-based romance author and fan of love stories since my teens. What better way to fill those long days, while school was closed for the summer?
I write early in the morning in my kitchen, before I start running errands for my catering business and organizing my cooking workshops. I confess I never thought the words ‘I love waking up before six a.m. to write’ would leave my mouth, yet here we are!
When not writing, I read mostly romance (no surprise there…). I love gardening on my balcony and tending to my 50-ish indoor plants. I am an enthusiastic student of linedancing, which is the best mood booster, and city trips are my perfect way for a short break and change of scenery. I will never say no to good sushi with sake, macarons and layer cakes, or a strong dark beer, while imagining what it would be like to share them with one or several of my characters.
Plunging into the indie-publishing journey took me a while, but this also means I have a collection of stories waiting to come your way. It’s one of the most fascinating, as well as terrifying steps I’ve ever taken. I’m looking forward to sharing my stories with you!
